Here he is, our Skybox King, the big brother of the Skybox Queen. Located on the seventh floor, he watches over our home city of Leuven. He stands out with plenty of natural light, lots of character, a sun-drenched private rooftop terrace, and a stunning view.

On top of that, he’s incredibly versatile. From a birthday drink to a retirement party, from a board meeting to a brainstorming session. You name it, we make it happen!

De Hoorn delivers a complete experience, from inquiry to invoice. Our young and dynamic team, backed by tons of experience, takes care of everything together with you. That way, all you have to do on the day itself is enjoy.

Nice to know: seamlessly combine the King and Queen for greater capacity! The entire 7th floor is then exclusively yours, with complete privacy.

FAQ

Should we take care of the clean-up ourselves?

No, everything in terms of clean-up is included in the price of the venue.

Should we provide our own service?

No, we provide all the service needed and supervise the event. We work with our own team that has years of experience in the event industry.

Can we dress the venue ourselves?

You can certainly do that, bringing everything yourself except candles, firework sticks and confetti.

What furniture is present in Skybox King?

The Skybox King is equipped with:

Maximum seven round tables of eleven people
Five high tables, high chairs to rent (on the terrace in summer)
Cast iron buffet tables for the catering or your own decorations
Lounge set with approximately 20 seats on the terrace in summer

The rooftop terrace is decorated with string lights and has speakers to play some background music (max. 85dB).

If you need anything else, we can rent it for you: decorations, chairs, benches, etc.

Is a dance party possible?

A dance party is not possible in our skyboxes. Here the noise level is limited to a maximum of 85 decibels, and there is a closing time of 12 o'clock at night so as not to disturb the residents of our lofts above. Would you like to throw a party? Then you can always take a look at our heritage rooms, Machine room and Brewing room.

Is De Hoorn suitable for disabled people?

Yes it is, our building is fully wheelchair accessible!

Are there parking facilities at De Hoorn?

Just a two-minute walk away is Parking Vaartkom, with space for up to 1,000 cars. This car park is also the cheapest in Leuven. For those who want to be a real gentle(wo)man, there is the option of providing your own exit tickets for your visitors.

Is De Hoorn easily accessible by public transport?

De Hoorn is located at the Vaartkom, 1,5 kilometres from Leuven train station. A brisk walk (15 min.) or bike ride (5 min.) brings you to De Hoorn in no time. The closest bus stop is Engels Plein (De Lijn bus 601), a 5 minute walk from De Hoorn.

We work with our regular caterer Papillot, who offers high quality. So with us, you can enjoy not only our fantastic venue, but also Papillot's culinary delights.
