Discover and experience the history of the brewery in our impressive Brewing Room. Mix history and present and make your own sparkling brew.

Today, we organise your epic event where the first Stella was brewed a century ago. From wedding ceremonies and receptions to inspiring keynotes and showrooms. The room tells its own story and adds its flavour to your event.

The Brewing Room is a protected heritage site and has been fully restored to its original state! It doesn’t get more unique.

De Hoorn takes care of your entire event, from request to invoice. Our young and dynamic team is ready to help you plan and organise everything. With our expertise, all you have to do is enjoy yourself. 

Nice to know: break-out rooms? These are located close the Brewing Room, so you can easily add these to your event.

your event in the brewery room?

FAQ

No, everything in terms of clean-up is included in the price of the venue.
No, we provide all the service needed and supervise the event. We work with our own team that has years of experience in the event industry.
You can certainly do that, bringing everything yourself except candles, firework sticks and confetti.

The heritage rooms are equipped with: 

  • A maximum of 12 round tables (1 of max 6 people and 11 of max 11 people). Our tables therefore come in two sizes: a maximum of nine and a maximum of 11 people. All round tables and chairs are included in the hire price.  
  • Ten standing tables and twenty stools, to be divided between the two rooms (of course, you can always hire both in addition). 
  • Beautiful cast-iron buffet tables for catering or your own decoration 

Still need something extra? Be sure to discuss it with our event team. Everything can be hired: decoration, chairs, benches, etc.

Yes it is, our building is fully wheelchair accessible!
Just a two-minute walk away is Parking Vaartkom, with space for up to 1,000 cars. This car park is also the cheapest in Leuven. For those who want to be a real gentle(wo)man, there is the option of providing your own exit tickets for your visitors.
De Hoorn is located at the Vaartkom, 1,5 kilometres from Leuven train station. A brisk walk (15 min.) or bike ride (5 min.) brings you to De Hoorn in no time. The closest bus stop is Engels Plein (De Lijn bus 601), a 5 minute walk from De Hoorn.
We work with our regular caterer Papillot, who offers high quality. So with us, you can enjoy not only our fantastic venue, but also Papillot's culinary delights.
