Participation is free, registration is required via 'tickets'
In this BrainBoost you'll learn…
- How to tell the difference between healthy stress that drives you forward and stress that slowly drains your body and energy, both in yourself and in your team.
- How your nervous system works (on/off mode) and why recovery deserves far more attention than we give it.
- How small, realistic interventions can structurally strengthen your energy, focus and resilience.
We won't just stick to theory: during this session you'll experience hands-on exercises with a direct impact on your nervous system and resilience.
Topics covered
- When is stress helpful and when does it become too much?
- How to recognise early signs of overload in yourself or your team
- What happens in your brain and nervous system under chronic stress?
- How to make the shift from 'on' to 'off' and how do you actually know you've made it?
- Your breath as a direct reset for your stress system
- Taking real breaks and truly switching off, how do you do that in the middle of a busy life?
- How focus, multitasking and interruptions affect your brain
- Becoming more mindful of stimuli and screen use
- Knowing vs. doing: turning good intentions into daily action
This session is ideal for anyone who…
- Juggles a lot of balls at once (work, family, caregiving, social life…)
- Notices their body is sending signals of imbalance
- Feels tired but keeps pushing through
- Gets irritable more easily or struggles to find mental rest
- Doesn't want to wait until things go wrong, but wants to take a proactive approach
- Wants to structurally strengthen their energy, focus and resilience
- Appreciates a no-nonsense approach with practical tools
