On Voka Open Business Day, De Hoorn opens doors that normally remain closed. A hundred years ago, the very first Stella was brewed here, among the copper brewing kettles that you can still admire today. Today, the building is just as vibrant as ever, only not with beer alone: living, working, dining and celebrating effortlessly come together under one roof. On Voka Open Business Day, you follow a designated route through the entire building and discover what that looks like in real life. The route takes you to places no visitor has ever set foot in before: a peek into the kitchen where we cook for our parties and guests, a look inside a loft as if you were staying there yourself, and a glimpse of how an event comes to life. Along the way, you’ll collect fun facts—not only about a hundred years of history, but also about our business today.

Who we are

De Hoorn is the former Stella Artois brewery in Leuven, transformed into a vibrant hub where living, working and experiencing come together. The historic copper brewing kettles are still here, but today the building is buzzing with a very different kind of energy.

What we do

We bring five things together under one roof: event spaces for parties, weddings and corporate events; meeting room rental; lofts for short- or long-term stays; office space for a community of around 1,000 members; and a restaurant and bar where everyone is welcome.
