De Hoorn expands with School 6: a new Health & Well-being hub

There is renewed activity in Leuven. De Hoorn is further expanding its network of community-based workspaces with School 6, a protected monument on Naamsestraat, located on the former site of the Heilig Hartziekenhuis hospital. The former city school will be transformed into a Health & Well-being hub, with its opening planned for spring 2028.

Organizations and companies that are already considering their future work or practice locations can now express their interest and become part of this new initiative.

School 6 was built between 1899 and 1901 and has been a protected monument since 1999. Today, De Hoorn is repurposing the building into a vibrant space where heritage, well-being, and entrepreneurship come together. The building will house offices, practice spaces, and a hospitality venue, all with a focus on health and well-being.
